Can task lighting be included in a retrofit that contributes to earning the CBTD?

Answer: Only if it is permanently installed. If the task lighting is portable, then it is not permanently installed, and therefore is not recognized by ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1-2001. If the task lighting is permanently installed/hardwired, then it could be recognized by ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1-2001.
